BIBLIOGRAPHIC NOTES
Born in Springfield, Massachusetts, I spent my youth in Mauricie where drawing and painting are omnipresent in my activities. During my university studies in administration, I continued my self-taught training in painting by exploring different mediums. My fascination with transparency and light quickly led me to favor watercolor then very rapidly the enamel paint on stained glass.
During a five-year stay in Ivory Coast, West Africa and many trips to Europe, my taste and my need to create are nourished by cultural diversities influencing in particular the colors of my palette and my light effects. Back in Quebec, for more than 23 years, I settle in Sherbrooke in the Eastern Townships where I devote myself only to painting. Regularly, the taste for adventure brings me to new countries.
SPECIAL PROJECT: CHÂTEAU FRONTENAC (QUEBEC, QUEBEC, CANADA)
In 2014, for the renovation project of the Château Frontenac in Quebec city, I obtained a contract to paint 12 large mirrors, painted from the back, according to the specifications of the management of the Château in order to respect the historic character of the place, according to an artwork, owned by the Château, from the beginning of the century . The 12 mirrors are located in the large lobby of the famous Hotel, affixed to the fronts of the reception desks of the Château Frontenac.
